Effective Communication in the Workplace Could be Video Based With Latest DeskAlerts Innovation

The enterprise messaging system DeskAlerts has announced the addition to its already expansive video messaging solution today.

The newest innovation from the desktop messaging service is Webcam Recording. This function allows DeskAlerts users to record a video message from their webcam directly in the DeskAlerts interface. The recorded video can be embedded directly into a desktop popup alert and then accompanied with the user’s desired texts and any additional needed links.

Webcam Recording is just one of a number of video formats that DeskAlerts supports. Users can also embed video content from popular video sharing sites such as YouTube and Vimeo into messages or choose to embed existing video files into messages or send with an email.

Anton Vdovin, Project Manager at DeskAlerts, said, “Video messages are one of the best ways to reach employees and a powerful tool for improving and encouraging effective communication in the workplace.

“We’re very keen to help our users get the most out of this incredibly useful medium and think that our new Webcam Recording feature will prove very popular. As well as being quick and easy it’s also very convenient so we expect that it will quickly find favour with DeskAlerts clients.”

Additional video solutions are expected to play a starring role in future DeskAlerts innovations. A number of new features are already planned and will be rolled out to DeskAlerts users later in the year.
