DeskAlerts Launches Version 7 With New Features and Mobile Support
The internal communications provider has today released a major new version of its software DeskAlerts. Version 7 of DeskAlerts implements a host of new features, boasts an improved interface and offers mobile support for all users. Already installed in healthcare, education and customer service environments across the globe, this updated version ensures enhanced performance and a personalised user experience.

With four colors to choose from – red, yellow, blue and green it is easy to set a color code system in place. Another enhanced feature of the DeskAlerts Version 7 is the compatibility with mobile devices including smartphones and tablets. After all, in many practical professions it is unlikely staff will be able to have a desktop computer at their fingertips all day. Employees can now be notified on any Android or iOS device using the same DeskAlerts software, meaning the same message can reach a variety of different platforms.

Well aware that spontaneous alert windows popping up on screen may be inconvenient for some staff members, this new mode allows individual employees to receive a subtle taskbar communication, which can be read at a later time. Combined with the colour coded alerts, this means employees can instantly see what task is more important – carrying on with current work, or reading the alert and prioritising something else.
A more personalised approach for individual users has also been prioritised by the software developers, in order to customise the user experience. The Widgets engine is the new version of the user dashboard, compiling the individual’s most used tools for total convenience. The flexible dashboard also allows users to track real-time activities and an easier interface for beginners. For new users of the software, the improved built-in help and hints will speed up the learning process. The fresh Skin Services feature also allows each message to be shaped and styled differently to attract attention.
